The “14th edition of the IEEE International Symposium on Diagnostics for Electric Machines, Power Electronics and Drives” takes place in Chania between 28 Aug and 31 Aug 2023. The conference is organized by the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the Technical University of Crete, with Professor Mr. Gyftakis Constantinos as scientific director and the Region of Crete as co-organizer.
In the conference the latest developments in the technology of fault diagnosis and prognosis in electric generators, electric motors, power electronics and related fields will be presented and discussed. This is the 25th year since the first SDEMPED was established as the only international symposium entirely devoted to the diagnostics of electrical machines, power electronics and drives. SDEMPED is now a regular biennial event.
The conference will take place at the Leptos Panorama Hotel and its program will include 2 keynote presentations, 2 tutorial sessions, 11 regular and 5 special sessions where 92 research papers will be presented from 140 participants from 33 different countries.
