Professor Dimitrios Angelakis of the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the Technical University of Crete will be an invited speaker at the American Physical Society March (APS) Meeting 2025.
The American Physical Society (APS) March Meetings are one of the most prestigious conferences in the field of Physics with more than 10,000 scientists from all over the world who meet every March in North America.
Mr. Angelakis’ talk is entitled “Exponential qubit reduction in quantum optimization” and concerns the implementation of quantum optimization calculations on quantum computers with applications in transportation and economics. Part of the research results that will be presented were produced during the postgraduate research of former graduate student Ioannis Leonidas of the School in collaboration with the Singapore Center for Quantum Technologies
