Professor Georgios Chalkiadakis, faculty member of the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, was officially recognised as a Distinguished Senior Program Committee Member of the 32nd International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence (IJCAI 2023), due to reviewing services of exceptional quality, and was awarded the respective certificate by the conference. It is to be noted that IJCAI is one of the top AI conferences worldwide.
The IJCAI conference series has been organized by the nonprofit IJCAI Organization since 1969, making it the oldest premier AI conference series in the world. It was held biennially in odd-numbered years from 1969 to 2015 and annually starting from 2016. IJCAI covers a broad range of research areas in the field of AI. It is a large and highly selective conference, with only about 20% or less of the submitted papers to be accepted after peer review.
