Assoc. Professor Costas Balas is the Winner of the Applied Research & Innovation Competition "Greece Innovates”, 2013. Particularly the evaluation committee granted to him the 1st award in applied research, in a country-scale completion and with 220 proposals submitted from almost all the Academic and Industrial institutions of the country. No restrictions were set on the research subject of the applications
