The publication of S. Thomas, K. Papadimitriou and A. Dollas entitled "Architecture and Implementation of Real-Time 3D Stereo Vision on a Xilinx FPGA" that was presented in the 21st IFIP/ΙΕΕΕ International Conference on Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI-SoC) which was held at Istanbul in October, 2013, was in the short list of 6 papers for the conference's Best Paper Award. The IFIP/IEEE VLSI-SoC is a peer-reviewed conference with proceedings, and this year 48 out of 244 submissions were accepted for presentation and publication as full-papers (the acceptance rate was 19.6%).
